Longwood Arts Project, the head quarters for the 1st Annual Bronx Artists Festival, is the visual art program of the Bronx Council on the Arts. Their mission is to raise the profile, and the technical/creative ceiling of artists from underrepresented groups, including women and artists of color, through its exhibitions at the Longwood @ Hostos Art Gallery and the Longwood Cyber Residency and Exhibition Program.

Longwood Arts Project presents exhibitions with an emphasis on themes relevant to artists and our Bronx communities. The Cyber Program awards artists with free professional training in new media and Internet technology. The honoraria they receive helps them to develop interactive, web projects for display at www.longwoodcyber.org
