Artists 2005 – A visual art exhibition featuring
work by the 2005 BRIO award winners, including Beth
Brideau, Howard Cash, Linda Cunningham, Alejandra Delfin,
James Gross, Daniel Hauben, Shinichiro Kitaura, Aristides
Logothetis, Agnes Murray, and Ron Terner and two of
last years winners, Luis Fonseca, and Clara Williams.
BRIO LAB- CDs with listening stations and published
manuscripts for perusal from past BRIO winners in music
composition, performance and the literary arts (5:00-8:00pm)

and a viewing of its current exhibits: Collection
Remixed takes its cue from venerable recording
labels that have invited DJs to remix classic material
from its vaults. S-T-E-R-E-O-V-I-E-W –
Artist Javier Téllez bridges the gap between
the mentally ill and society, challenging stereotypes
and giving patients a public voice. Romare Bearden:
New York Scenes features Bearden’s New
York Scenes (1979) — a group of watercolors
commissioned for the opening credits of John Cassavetes’
Gloria, a film set in the Bronx. |

with a collectors’ tour led by a noted arts professional
visiting the studios of some of today’s leading and emerging
visual artists. Tour participants will meet at the Longwood
